Marking 21 years of Ireland’s visionary seafloor mapping initiative.
INFOMAR 2020 marks 21 years of Ireland’s visionary seafloor mapping initiative. This two day event will run on December 3rd and 4th 2020 in Dublin Castle.
The occasion will reflect on Irish and international seabed mapping efforts to date and will consider how this experience can be harnessed in addressing the global requirement to map and understand our world’s coasts, seas and oceans.
You are cordially invited to contribute to this milestone in our journey and we look forward to discussing the past, present and future of seafloor mapping with you this December.
INFOMAR is Ireland’s national seabed mapping programme funded by the Department of Communications Climate Action and Environment (DCCAE) and managed jointly by Geological Survey Ireland and the Marine Institute.
