INFOMAR are hiring!

Hi Everyone,

INFOMAR has an exciting opening for a Scientific & Technical Officer (STO) Data Manager based at the Marine Institute in Co. Galway along Irelands rugged west coast. Here you will support the management and spatial analysis of marine, hydrographic and geophysical data collected by the INFOMAR team.

The Data Manager will also work within the Information Services & Development team, and be primarily responsible for the management of INFOMAR data, and development of tools, services and products that will contribute to the INFOMAR programme final deliverables.

You will have a Degree in IT / Computer Sciences, experience in the management of spatial data, including Python, JavaScript, GIS, database management and lots of other fun stuff!
