During 2025, operations are planned to take place in the following bays, harbors, and offshore areas:
The Geological Survey Ireland vessels—RV Keary, RV Geo, RV Lir, RV Mallet, and RV Galtee—will operate between March and November in the Atlantic Ocean, western coastal areas, and the Irish Sea, with an offshore boundary of 30 nautical miles (NM).
The RV Tom Crean will conduct surveys in the Celtic Sea and the Atlantic Ocean on the following dates:
- 02/03/2025 – 26/03/2025: Celtic Sea & Atlantic Ocean
- 27/03/2025 – 21/04/2025: Celtic Sea & Atlantic Ocean
- 09/05/2025 – 22/05/2025: Celtic Sea & Atlantic Ocean
- 09/09/2025 – 07/10/2025: Celtic Sea & Atlantic Ocean
